Goalkeepers training starts again next Monday night at fortress Cuthbury. Nick 'Hutch' Hutchings will be taking keepers for special training from 5.30 TO 6.30 please ensure we have a full turnout. Last weekend saw Wimborne Town Boys score 20 goals over 5 games and conceed 13. The under 14's managed by 2006/7 Manager of the year Roger House moved into 4th place with an emphatic 6 - 0 win over Sturminster Newton, Not to be outdone Tony Stuart's under 13's moved into second place with a 7 - 0 win over Kingswood. The result was helped by Kingswood being able to field only 10 players but was still a nice way to prepare for their DFA cup semi game next week against Rossgarth Andy's Pheonix team were unfortunate to come away from Weymouth with a 3 - 2 loss against a resurgant Weymouth Diamonds side who finished bottom last season. The under 10 Boys side managed by Peter Hall enjoyed a slightly better visit to sunny Weymouth coming away with a 5 - 1 victory Alex's under 10's were beaten 9 - 0 by top of the table Sturminster Marshall but still are well placed to finish in the top 4 Click here for full story |
